Ingredients
50og blackberries
4 large cooking apples
Juice of ½ lemon
4 tablespoons Zusto
Topping
150g rolled oats
150g wholemeal flour
100g butter or low fat spread
75g Zusto
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 C. Wash the blackberries and remove any stalks, cut up the apples into quarters and then half again, put into a pan and add the lemon juice and Zusto. Bring to the boil and simmer for approx. 10 mins (may wish to take out a couple of tablespoons of liquid at this stage). Put into an ovenproof dish
- Put all the ingredients and butter into a bowl, mix together and using your fingertips rub the butter into the dry ingredients
- Spoon the crumble mix onto the fruit and bake in the oven at 180 C, gas mark 4 for around 25 minutes.
- Serve as required, to store keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.
